Interpreter Services
Across Languages Interpreter Services will be recommended to the MSJP client upon request by patients or their interpreters who are unable read or speak English and who do not have a family member or support person to assist them.

Service Animals, Assistive Devices, Support Workers, and Transportation
Meridian Spine & Joint Physiotherapy does not provide conventional or specialized commercial transportation services and is not required to adhere to the Transportation Standard.
All Meridian Spine & Joint Physiotherapy locations are wheelchair accessible. Persons with disabilities who use an assistive device will be permitted to use their own device while attending physiotherapy.
If a person with a disability is accompanied by by a guide dog or other service animal, Meridian Spine & Joint Physiotherapy shall ensure that the person is permitted to entered the premises with the animal and to keep the animal with them, unless the animal is otherwise excluded by law from the premises.
If a person with a disability is accompanied by a support person, Meridian Spine & Joint Physiotherapy will ensure that both persons are permitted to enter the premises together and that the person with a disability is not prevented from having access to the support person while on the premises.
Accessibility Compliance Reporting
In Ontario, businesses 20 or more employees are required to file an Accessibility Compliance Report every three years. The most recent deadlines for these reports were December 31, 2023, for businesses and non-profits.
Meridian Accessibility Policies
The Meridian Spine & Joint Physiotherapy is committed to provide access and a barrier-free environment for our patients, their families, and our employees. This is achieved through the collection of information on accessibility from our patients, third party payers and our staff. Information gathered by survey, focus group, or other means will be analysed and acted upon to the ability of the clinic. Where applicable, the clinic will make recommendations to building owners and or managers to facilitate change as necessary.
